WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT AND WHY?
Personal Details To ship your order, we need your name, address, and contact details. An email address is used to keep you informed about your order and related matters. A phone number is requested so we can reach you directly if we have a question about your order.
By placing an order, you automatically agree to the legally required 7-year retention period for order data. If you choose not to provide the above information, we are unable to process your order.
Product Reviews When submitting a product review, your IP address and the browser you use to visit our site are stored. We do this to detect spam.
Contact Forms When contacting us via the contact form, we ask for your email address so that we can send you a reply.
Analytics We use Google Analytics on our site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information. Further down this page you can read what a cookie is and how we use them. The information Google collects on our behalf is anonymized and encrypted.
Account When creating an account, your email address is requested. The password you choose is stored in an encrypted format in our database.
Cookies When you leave a comment on our site, you can indicate whether your name, email address, and website may be saved in a cookie. We do this for your convenience so you don’t have to enter this information again for future comments. These cookies are valid for one year.
If you have an account and log in, we temporarily store a cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted as soon as you close your browser.
Upon logging in, we will store several cookies related to your login information and display preferences. Login cookies are valid for 2 days and display preference cookies for 1 year. If you select “Remember me,” your login will be retained for 2 weeks. Once you log out, login cookies are deleted.
When you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie is stored by your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and only holds the post ID of the article you edited. This cookie expires after one day.
Embedded Content from Other Websites Posts on this site may contain embedded content (such as videos, images, posts, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited that other website.

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA?
We share your data with the following services and companies:
- Krijgsman Public Warehousing: this company handles our shipping. They have access to your name, address, and contact information, which are required to dispatch your package.
- PostNL: they also receive access to your name, address, and email address for shipping your package and sending track & trace emails.
- Google Analytics: we only share how you have used our site with Google Analytics. This includes which links you clicked and how you arrived at our site. This information is fully anonymized and will only be used to optimize our website.
- Payment Provider: Mollie is our payment provider. When paying for your order, you will be directed to a secure Mollie environment where you can complete the payment. To read Mollie’s privacy statement, click here.
HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN YOUR DATA?
Below you can see how long the above information is retained for our use:
- Account: when you create an account with us, the information provided in your profile is retained until you request us to delete it.
- Product reviews: the information you entered with a product review is retained indefinitely.
- Personal data: the data you provide when placing an order must be retained by us for 7 years, in accordance with Dutch law. After this period, order data is automatically deleted.
- If you also have an account with us, the data in your profile will be retained even after this 7-year period.
- Analytics: the data we pass on to Google Analytics is retained until we cancel our account with this service.
TO HAVE YOUR ACCOUNT DELETED
If you would like your account deleted, you can submit a request via the contact form. Within 30 days of the request, we will send you an email in which you can confirm the deletion. Please note that this email may end up in your spam folder. After confirmation, we will officially delete the account and you will automatically receive a notification that this has been done.
VIEWING MY INFORMATION
It is possible to request all information we hold about you in our database. To do so, send a request via the contact form. We will process it within 30 days and you will receive a confirmation email. After you have confirmed the request, we will send you a link allowing you to download an export of your data. If you wish to have any of this data amended, please let us know and we will take care of it for you.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In the event of a data breach, those whose data has been compromised will be contacted.
